Benjamin graduated from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, NB, with Dean’s List honours before joining the workforce for a few years. He then enrolled at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law, where he was awarded the valuable Schulich Scholarship in his final year. After graduation in 2013, Benjamin articled with the Halifax firm of Blois, Nickerson & Bryson. Benjamin, who is originally from the Truro area, has moved with his family to the Barrington area and is practicing in both the firm’s Barrington and Liverpool offices.

Benjamin has embraced the life of a country lawyer, serving a varied clientele.

Fownes Law conducts a knowledgeable, general practice, knowing when to refer specialized questions such as taxation, and very complex issues to specialists who assist us.

Benjamin’s preferred area of practice include real estate transactions, family law and divorce, as well as acting as Defence Counsel to regulatory offences arising from fishing, hunting and others.
